Answer: State law mandates all dogs and cats be implanted with a microchip as a permanent means of identification before they leave the shelter (adoptions and redemptions). Residents can make an appointment to have their other cats and dogs microchipped for a fee of $25.
Answer: The price of the surgery for animals ranges depending on how much the animal weighs.
Answer: Livestock and pocket pets are varied in price depending on the type of animal. Livestock is not microchipped and you are not required to spay or neuter them.
Answer: All dogs and cats that are adopted must be spayed or neutered. If you adopt a pet, you will have to bring them back on a scheduled date for surgery and you will be responsible for the surgery costs.
