Welcome to the SB City Hall Academy
The SB City Hall Academy is a free, 10-week interactive educational course aimed at
helping San Bernardino residents understand more about city government and,
specifically, how the City of San Bernardino operates and the myriad of services it offers.
Classes are held on Tuesday evenings from 6 - 8 p.m. and each session focuses on a
different facet of local government. Topics covered throughout the program include
general city services such as public works, animal services, parks and recreation,
community development and planning, and many other San Bernardino-focused
municipal subjects.
The Academy is a great way to learn about the city, build positive relationships, increase
communication between government officials and citizens, and inspire future municipal
leaders and volunteers.
Eligibility Requirements
Participants must be residents of the City of San Bernardino, be age 18 years or older,
and committed to attending all sessions. Due to the interactive nature of the program,
the class size is limited to 15 participants.
