If you answered NO to Both of the above questions, you can file your report online. If you answered yes to any of the questions please, call the San Bernardino Police Department at 909-384-5742. If this is an emergency, call 911!
This site will let you report any of the following types of incidents:
Harassing Phone Calls Report
Unsolicited phone calls of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature
Example: Immediate hang-ups, obscene language, etc...
Vehicle Burglary
If your entire vehicle has been stolen, do not fill out this form, call 909-384-5742.
Property (equipment, belongings, etc.) is stolen from a motor vehicle using forced entry. (Non-forced entry of motor vehicle should be reported under "Theft").
Child Custody Reports
Definition: For violation of child custody orders where you would like documentation only for future court hearings but do not currently want to press criminal charges on the causing party.
Examples: (This list is not exclusive and does not include every possible situation)
Your ex-husband/wife failed to return the child to the predetermined location/ or time.
Your ex-husband/wife failed to show up to pick up child at predetermined time.
Your ex-husband/wife were late to showing up for the exchange.
You ex-husband/wife brought an individual to the exchange that was not supposed to be present.
Do NOT make a report online if you believe your child is currently abducted.
Child abduction is defined as: every person who takes, entices away, keeps, withholds, or conceals a child and maliciously deprives a lawful custodian of a right to custody, or a person of a right to visitation, Per Penal Code 278.5(a).
If you believe your child is abducted, call 911 and make a report with an officer.
Violate Court Order (non-child custody)

Hit and Run
You were involved in a hit and run
Home Burglary
Property is stolen from your residential or commercial building
Identity Theft
Using false identity to obtain credit, passing bad checks, etc...
Lost Property
When property is missing or lost
Example: Property that is missing, items left in public places
Officer Commendations
An opportunity to leave comments about a police officer you had dealings with
Storage Unit Burglary

Theft

The act of stealing; someone has taken something that belongs to you without your permission
Traffic Collision - Property Damage Only
You were involved in a traffic collision that resulted in property damage only, use this form
Vandalism
The act of changing, modifying or defacing public or private property
Vehicle Tampering
Tampering (Keying, broken windows, or attempts to remove parts.) with a Motor vehicle.
Attempted Theft
If you were the victim of an attempted theft
Defrauding an Innkeeper
If food was obtained from a restaurant, lodging at a hotel, motel or private campground without paying
Threats
If you were the victim of threats
Trespassing
If you were the victim of a trespassing
This site allows you to file a police report with the City of San Bernardino. After completing the necessary information you will receive an actual report ID and you will be able to print the report for your records. A valid form of identification and an email address are required to complete the report. If this is an emergency, call 911!
