SCE has informed residents and businesses in the County of San Bernardino there may be a Public Safety Power Shutoff impacting residents in the City of San Bernardino between 9:00 pm on Sunday, October 23 and 12:00 noon on Monday, 24. SCE will notify all customers who may be affected, including Critical Care and Medical Baseline customers. For more information including a real-time map reflecting the current status, visit sce.com/psps
SCE has listed the following locations in the City of San Bernardino on its watch list: University Heights, Verdemont, Devils Canyon, Skyland, Valley View Park, and Waterman Canyon.
Other nearby affected circuits identified by SCE include: "Along Cable Canyon Rd ; Devore ; Devore Heights ; Heading North on Wendy Ranch Rd and Martin Ranch Rd ; Kendall FR ; Tokay Hills ; West of Verdemont; ; Cajon ; Cosy Dell ; Keenbrooke ; Muscoy"
SCE’s forecasting relies on in-house meteorologists and fire scientists. Sudden weather changes may impact SCE’s ability to provide advanced notice: a shutoff could occur sooner than anticipated.
