Sand and Sandbags Available at Local Parks
Ahead of Forecast Rainstorm

The City of San Bernardino Public Works Department has delivered sand and sandbags to four local parks in preparation for potentially heavy rainfall forecast for this week.

A storm system from the Pacific will bring occasional showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms, which could bring heavy rainfall especially on Thursday afternoon and evening.

Sand and Sandbags are available at:
Wildwood Park - 536 East 40th Street
Blair Park - 1466 West Marshall Boulevard
Nunez Park - 1717 West 5th Street
Lytle Creek Park - 380 South K Street

Residents are asked to call the Police non-emergency line at (909) 383-5311 with any storm related issues. For emergencies, including downed power lines, residents should call 9-1-1.

Following the event, residents should resume using the Call Center at (909) 384-7272, the app GoSBCity, or through the City’s website.
